防爆箱線路應當在爆炸危險性較小或距離釋放源較遠的位置。電氣線路宜沿有爆炸危險的建筑物的外墻敷設；當爆炸危險氣體或蒸氣比空氣重時，電氣線路應在高處敷設，電纜則直接埋地敷設或電纜溝充砂敷設；當爆炸危險氣體或蒸氣比空氣輕時，電氣線路宜敷設在低處，電纜則采取電纜溝敷設。10kV及 10kV以下的架空線路不得跨越爆炸危險環境；當架空線路與爆炸危險環境鄰近時，其間距離不得小于桿塔高度的1．5倍。
配線方式和接線方式。爆炸危險環境主要采用防爆鋼管配線和電纜配線。盡量采用厚壁管，有的可能要做打壓試驗
